Feature Film: Black Forest

Recently, I wrapped a three-day shoot on the set of the indie horror film Black Forest by director David Briggs.

I play Clay, a sadistic yet eerily high-functioning serial killer. It is hands down the darkest role I’ve played to date and it was a hell of a ride that culminated in a 20-hour marathon final shooting day. Unions, pffft…

Great cast and crew and wonderful support from the local community!

No official release date has been set, but I hear whispers from Mr. Briggs of a Spring 2013 final cut.

Until then, here are some photos from the shoot; various locations in and around Elliot Lake and Algoma Mills (Ontario), including this killer barn stuffed to the rafters with antiques and rusting knives. We didn’t even have to dress the set.
