A Short Monologue from “Collateral”

In my ongoing attempts to train myself as a filmmaker on my new Canon EOS Rebel T3i, I’ve taken to self-shooting a series of monologues from feature films I’m particularly fond of.

Here’s one from Michael Mann’s Collateral, originally delivered by Tom Cruise (say what you want about him, but he is dynamite in this film).

Acting aside, this short piece is mostly an exercise in framing and editing for continuity.

Enjoy?
