I have an interesting backyard.
Actually, “yard” is probably inaccurate. It’s more of a back alley.
However, if you follow that alley to the end, you hit both the mouth of Junction Creek, which runs right through Downtown Sudbury, though mostly underground, and you also hit a CN rail yard.
So I shot some stuff and cut this together. Enjoy?!
This was shot on a Canon EOS Rebel T3i (now featuring a brand-new Fotga matte box) with a Rokinon CINE 35mm prime T1.5 lens.
I also dropped an ND4 filter into the matte box to reduce overall light coming into the lens so I could maintain a largish aperture (usually between T2.8 – T4) throughout.
The score is an instrumental version of an R&B song that I am too embarrassed to reveal. However, if you know it, you can “out” me in the comments and I’ll update the post.
